These two paramedics were heaven-sent. It seemed as though they knew what I was going through. They temporarily subdued the intense pain I had before the ride to the A&E. Through my moans and groans in the ambulance, the paramedic while taking my details, kept saying, "don't worry, you'll be alright," relax your muscles," we are almost there ( at the hospital )"...
At that moment, I felt glad and opportuned to be in an environment where this type of service was available. Pity for the sick, wounded, old people and children who in various parts of the world didn't have this privilege, lurked around the edge of my subconscious.
Growing up in Nigeria, the ambulance services (I saw) were for carrying corpses to and fro mortuaries! But this is not what this post is about...
The post is about #beingthankfultothenhs #thankingGodforambulances #puttingthingsinperspective #nottakinglifeforgranted #lovinggoodhealth
Only just two days ago, I wrote a post about new year resolutions...now I know one has to be hale and hearty to keep them!
