Poem: I Want to Write

I Want to Write
by Kate Iffy Chukwu

I want to write about
so many things
but I don't know where to start
there's much going on
the news each day
like the starving kids
the many earthquakes
the wars everywhere...

I want to write about
so many things
but I don't know where to start
there's much to do
and so little time
but I better start
to write about these things
or else I never will

Changing Perceptions...Ten2Teens Magazine Vol.6 coming soon!!!

"In this edition, we talk to a few 16 year olds who received their GCSE results in August. We highlight a few points on low self-esteem which is a common issue that many teens face. We feature 17 year old award winning fashion designer,  Tumi. Ike,a guy who went from being on level 3 in Maths, English and Science to gaining a scholarship to study and play football in the states. We've also featured male and female role models who continue to inspire, success stories, inspirations from around the world, puzzles, wordsearch in some African languages and many more. We continue to share success stories in the UK and around the world with the aim to inspire, empower and encourage."

It’s Another Block Buster Movie...Oxford Gardens!!!

This is not a movie review …but Oxford Gardens, is the New Block Buster Movie!!!

Story by Brenda Chidinma Ogbuka, Echobu Garuba & Emil B. Garuba

Screenplay, Produced and Directed by Obi Emelonye

From the stables of The Nollywood Factory and African Magic Original Films, OXFORD GARDENS tells the story of Julius (Ngo Okafor) a down-on his-luck ex-boxer, in search of redemption and  Munachi (Ngozi Thompson Igwebike)  a pretty, bubbly young girl with a dark secret.

Their chance meeting on a park in Oxford Gardens one morning sets in motion an unlikely friendship and an uplifting journey through their respective fears, hopes, faith and love; to a stoic acceptance of what life throws at them.

The slogan for this movie (and it’s actually worth giving a thought) is

‘If today was your last day on earth, how would you spend it?’

Filming currently in progress, across different locations in the

UK (but somehow I felt the need to shout about it!!!)
